Softball Recap: Sandwich Takes a Loss

After flying high against Carver on Wednesday, Sandwich came back down to earth. The Blue Knights fell 7-4 to the Cardinal Spellman Cardinals on Thursday.

Maddie Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. That stolen base was her first of the season.

Sandwich's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Cardinal Spellman, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Sandwich will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cohasset at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Cardinal Spellman, they will square off against West Bridgewater at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
