Soccer Recap: Cape Fear vs. J.H. Rose

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cape Fear can now relate to. They lost 5-2 to the J.H. Rose Rampants on Tuesday. The contest was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Colts it sure didn't stay that way.

Bryan Martinez and Connor Dickinson scored both of Cape Fear's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Cape Fear's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-6-1. As for J.H. Rose, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6-1 record this season.

Cape Fear does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for J.H. Rose, they will venture away from home to square off against Southern Nash at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southern Nash will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something J.H. Rose surely won't give up without a fight.
