Football Game Preview: Chino Cowboys vs. Diamond Bar Brahmas + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Nathan Bull and Dominic Tortorelli are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Chino Cowboys will welcome the Diamond Bar Brahmas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Diamond Bar took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Chino, who comes in off a win.

Chino took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against South Hills by a score of 29-22.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Diamond Bar's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 49-35 bruising from Los Altos. The Brahmas were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Chino is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 5.22 yards per carry in those games compared to only 2.85 in the others. As for Diamond Bar, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-6.

Chino took a serious blow against Diamond Bar when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 55-28. Thankfully for the Cowboys, Quinton Mendoza (who threw for 263 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt, and also punched in two scores on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
