Basketball Recap: Granbury Comes Up Short

Granbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 57-37 to the Prosper Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st, while the Eagles are ranked 16th).

Granbury's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Prosper, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granbury will face off against Azle at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prosper, they will square off against Princeton at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
