After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Benton brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past the Eldorado Eagles 15-8 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Peyton Robinson made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That run was his first of the season.
