Currituck County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-56 heartbreaker at the hands of Holmes.

Currituck County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5. As for Grassfield, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
