Volleyball Recap: Dysart's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Dysart unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Northwest Christian Crusaders. If the Demons were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14, 24-26, 25-15.

Matthew Erickson paced Dysart's offense, picking up 12 kills. Erickson got some help from Jorge Serna and his 20 assists. Erickson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Dysart's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Northwest Christian, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7.

Dysart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Prescott on the 22nd. As for Northwest Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against North Valley Christian Academy on the 24th.
