Baseball Preview: Herriman Mustangs vs. Riverton Silverwolves
Herriman is 1-9 against Riverton since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Herriman Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Riverton Silverwolves at 3:00 p.m.
Herriman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 13-2 walloping at the hands of Corner Canyon.

Meanwhile, Riverton faced Mountain Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Riverton blew past Mountain Ridge 14-5. With that win, Riverton brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Drake Piersall was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Kaden Allred was another key contributor, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Herriman's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Riverton, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
