Volleyball Recap: Mount St. Charles Academy Find Success + How To Watch

Mount St. Charles Academy proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Marianapolis Prep Golden Knights 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Mounties in their matchups with the Golden Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Mount St. Charles Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Marianapolis Prep into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-21, 25-19, 24-26, 15-10.

Sophia Baeta had an outrageously good game as she had 19 digs and one assist. Those 19 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Rataic, who had eight digs.

Mount St. Charles Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Marianapolis Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount St. Charles Academy will welcome Wheeler at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marianapolis Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cushing Academy at 4:45 p.m. on October 8.
