Melbourne Central Catholic featured prominently on the scoreboard in its previous game, but it had difficulty even getting on the board against Oxbridge Academy. Melbourne Central Catholic has to be hurting after a devastating 32 - 7 defeat at the hands of Oxbridge Academy. Melbourne Central Catholic wasn't expected to win (the team is many ranks behind in the MaxPreps nationional rankings), but no loss is easy.
The defeat brought Melbourne Central Catholic down to 8-4. Oxbridge Academy remains undefeated at home and rose to 9-1.
The Oxbridge Academy squad is hoping to improve its record as its season nears the close. Oxbridge Academy will challenge Florida State University Friday as it continues its playoff run.
