Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Gets the Win

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah won the last time they faced Ozaukee and Lydia Weber did her part to make sure it happened again. The Resorters came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Saturday thanks in part to Weber, who had 12 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Despite the defeat, Ozaukee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Trahern Bartels had 19 digs and two assists. With that strong performance, Bartels is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Ozaukee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Reedsville on the 11th. As for Ozaukee, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Hilbert on the 11th.
