On Friday Makinley Hislop struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off 11 hits (and not a single walk). The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Hislop has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than one walk. On the year, she has an ERA of 1.53 over 64 innings pitched.

Hislop's effort led Lowry over Spring Creek and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
