While Cape Fear put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Lumberton. The Colts were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Pirates. Considering the Colts have won eight contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

McKinley Kolasa was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Allie Dawson and Amari Adams did most of the damage at the plate: Dawson went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Adams went 2-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Another player making a difference was Kalilah De La Cruz, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Cape Fear always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lumberton only posted an OBP of .222.
