While Las Animas put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Hoehne. The Trojans put the hurt on the Farmers with a sharp 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Braydon Ortiz made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Logan Servaes was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Damien Baca was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Las Animas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .512 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Las Animas pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Hoehne, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Las Animas didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 victory against Florence on the 22nd. As for Hoehne, they have also already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against Swink on the 24th.
