Softball Recap: Bloomfield Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bloomfield walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Shakamak Lakers on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-2. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on three straight.

Addison Lafree and Bella McIntosh did most of the damage at the plate: Lafree went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while McIntosh went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Gwenavere Klun, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Shakamak, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

As of now, neither Bloomfield nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
