Volleyball Recap: Divine Child Triumphs + How To Watch

Divine Child posted their closest win since September 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers 2-1. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Pioneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2017.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Divine Child got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-28, 25-16.

Emma Adams and Rozlynn Cayce certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Adams had seven digs and two aces, while Cayce had six digs.

Divine Child now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Croswell-Lexington, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Divine Child will take on Cabrini at 5:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Croswell-Lexington, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Mary's Prep on the 26th.
