North Stokes entered their tilt with East Wilkes on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. Considering the Vikings have won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Evan Woods made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Michael Frye, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryan Smith, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.

North Stokes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Wilkes only posted an OBP of .211.

North Stokes' record now sits at 19-7. As for East Wilkes, they moved to 15-7 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

North Stokes didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-1 win against Murphy on the 6th. As for East Wilkes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-6 victory against South Stokes on the 6th.
