Football Recap: Truckee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Truckee fell victim to Churchill County and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Greenwave, falling 42-0. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, the Wolverines' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Churchill County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carson Melendy led the charge by rushing for 165 yards and two scores while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. Melendy showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 67 yards. Matthew Bird was another key player, rushing for 37 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Having lost for the first time this season, Truckee fell to 2-1. As for Churchill County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
