Basketball Recap: Daystar Academy Takes a Loss

Daystar Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Providence-St. Mel Knights, falling 67-14. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Daystar Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Providence-St. Mel, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-7.

Daystar Academy will welcome Disney II at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Providence-St. Mel, they will challenge Saint Ignatius College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
