While Patchogue-Medford put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for William Floyd. The Raiders put the hurt on the Colonials with a sharp 12-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Colonials: they've now won five in a row.

Arianna Kelly-Weihberg tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cailyn Rose-Freaney, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Abby Eve, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.

Patchogue-Medford's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for William Floyd, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
