Soccer Recap: Calhoun County Takes a Loss

Calhoun County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thomas Sumter Academy Generals. If Calhoun County were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to Thomas Sumter Academy when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Thomas Sumter Academy, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Calhoun County will head out to face off against Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Thomas Sumter Academy, they will host Charleston Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
