Basketball Recap: Butternut Homeschoolers Starts Season with Victory at Home

Butternut HomeSchoolers took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 110-65 win over Beth Haven Baptist Academy.

Butternut HomeSchoolers got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Glenjamin Dellegenaramos out in front who shot 89% from beyond the arc to rack up 60 points in addition to 35 boards and 15 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Quandale Dingle, who shot 6-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropped a triple-double with 40 points, 24 rebounds, and 12 steals.

Looking ahead, Butternut HomeSchoolers will be playing at home against Kensington Woods at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Beth Haven Baptist Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on CenterPoint Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 19.
