West Cabarrus lost against Olympic back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 20-17. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Johnta Harrison threw for 100 yards and one touchdown. Brendon Williams was his top target, picking up 73 receiving yards and one score.

West Cabarrus' defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-4. As for Olympic, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.
