Baseball Recap: South Callaway Gets the Win

South Callaway proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 18) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Crocker Lions 6-5.

South Callaway has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Crocker, they moved to 14-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, South Callaway will challenge Eugene at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crocker, they will head out to challenge Laquey at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
