MICDS lost against Hillsboro back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams fell 2-0 to the Hawks. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Hillsboro scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20.

MICDS' loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Hillsboro, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MICDS will square off against Gateway Science Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hillsboro, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against North County at 6:30 p.m.
