Maiden has gone 8-2 against North Lincoln recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will host the Knights at 6:15 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Two weeks ago, everything came up roses for Maiden against Piedmont Community Charter as the team secured a 93-21 win. With the Blue Devils ahead 68-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Maiden found their leader in sophomore Ava Anderson, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 26 points along with five assists and five steals. Another player making a difference was Raegan Rembert, who went 5-for-10 on her way to 11 points and three steals.

Maiden smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 29 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, North Lincoln came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They claimed a resounding 52-14 victory over Ashbrook. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Knights had established a 34-point advantage.

Maiden's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Maiden came up short against North Lincoln in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 45-37. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
