 Curie had to start their season on the road  on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. Their  rough  16-4 loss to the Argo Argonauts  might stick with them for a while. The  defeat means Curie is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.
 For Argo's part,  Julio Ruiz and  Frankie Coglianese made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Ruiz   pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Meanwhile,  Coglianese   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. At the plate,  Ruiz  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple, while  Coglianese  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Xavier Brant was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cristo Fernandez, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Argo now  has a winning record of 2-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Curie will  challenge Farragut at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. One thing working in Farragut's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three contests. As for Argo, they will head out on the road to  take on  Berwyn/Cicero Morton at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Argo is facing Berwyn/Cicero Morton at the right time seeing as Berwyn/Cicero Morton is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
