Football Preview: Opelika Bulldogs vs. Thompson Warriors
After both having extra time off, the Opelika Bulldogs and the Thompson Warriors will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
Opelika is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Friday. They skirted past Auburn 31-28.

CJ Johnson was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 185 yards and one score while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Those 185 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Thompson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Damonte Tabb led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Chance Strown is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last five games he's played.
Opelika's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Thompson, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 10-3.
