Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edon). They put the hurt on the Gorham Fayette Eagles with a sharp 24-5 win on Monday. The Bombers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Makayla Anspaugh made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
