Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Extends Winning Streak to Five

Mountain View made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fort Lupton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mountain Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bluedevils on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Mountain Lions, who have now won five games in a row.

Mountain View walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Caleb Escalle, who had 15 digs and one assist.

Mountain View was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Lupton only served four aces.

The win got Mountain View back to even at 5-5. As for Fort Lupton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Windsor Charter Academy on the 2nd. As for Fort Lupton, they will be playing at home against Forge Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
