Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hunter Bohling, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals. Brennen Vaughan was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 7 steals.
Leading Weeping Water to victory were Gus Mcgill and Riggs Wilson. Mcgill scored 8 points along with 13 rebounds, while Wilson scored 13 points along with 3 steals.
Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Weeping Water, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will take on Lewiston at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lewiston focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday. As for Weeping Water, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Omaha Christian Academy.
