Frenship has gone a perfect 7-0 against Midland Legacy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Frenship will head out on the road to take on Midland Legacy at 6:30 p.m. Frenship will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.

Frenship proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Midland 4-3. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Bulldogs on their field since April 22, 2022.

Meanwhile, Midland Legacy hadn't done well against Midland recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Midland Legacy narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Midland 5-3.

Payton Brooks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Midland Legacy let Aliyah Valdez and Taylor Martinez run wild. Valdez scored a run while going 3-for-3, while Martinez went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits Valdez has posted since back in February.

Midland Legacy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. Frenship's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2.

Frenship was able to grind out a solid win over Midland Legacy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Frenship since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
