Volleyball Recap: Southwest EC Falls to Indio in First Game of Season

Southwest EC had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Indio Rajahs.

While Southwest EC was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-16.

Anitzi Zarco had a dynamite game For Indio., getting 35 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Zarco has posted since back in October of 2024.

Looking ahead, Southwest EC will challenge Montgomery at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indio, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
