Softball Recap: South Newton Rebels vs. North White Vikings

After flying high against Frontier on Thursday, South Newton came back down to earth. The Rebels came up short against the North White Vikings on Friday, falling 9-2. The Rebels have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Briley Iseminger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and eight unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.
