Football Recap: Santa Rosa Warriors vs. Varsity Opponent
Santa Rosa took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They blew past Varsity Opponent 42-0 at home. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.
Santa Rosa was led to victory by Riley Fonseca and JJ Anaya. Fonseca threw for 74 yards and two touchdowns, while Anaya rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns.
Santa Rosa will take on Pettus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Varsity Opponent, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Mary Persons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
