Volleyball Recap: Knox Central Comes Up Short

Knox Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwestern Warriors. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Knox Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Southwestern, the victory snapped their losing streak at ten matches and leaves them with a 2-20 record.

Coming up, Knox Central will welcome Breathitt County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Southwestern, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Whitley County at 2:00 p.m.
