Basketball Game Preview: Wasatch Wasps vs. Provo Bulldogs

The Wasatch Wasps are taking a road trip to take on the Provo Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wasatch knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Provo likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Wasatch earned a 55-47 win over West.

Meanwhile, Provo strolled past Maple Mountain with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 56-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Provo's win came from a few key players Wasatch will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Makai Allen, who posted 17 points and six assists. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gehrig Orchard, who put up 12 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Provo now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Wasatch, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Wasatch didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Provo in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 77-71 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Provo's Dallin Mcune, who went 11 of 16 on his way to 30 points.
