Blue Island Eisenhower entered their tilt with Shepard on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Astros 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cardinals have posted since March 22nd.

Jo'Mari Dixon was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Favian Barcena was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
