Soccer Recap: Bethlehem Catholic Comes Up Short

Bethlehem Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders. Bethlehem Catholic were not able to make up for their loss to Notre Dame-Green Pond from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Bethlehem Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-2. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Bethlehem Catholic will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Emmaus at 4:00 p.m. Bethlehem Catholic's defense better be ready for this one: Emmaus have averaged an impressive 5 goals per game this season. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, they will square off against Salisbury Township at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
