Basketball Recap: Clover Garden School Piles Up the Points Against Ascend Leadership

Clover Garden School won the last time they faced Ascend Leadership and things went their way on Friday too. The Clover Garden School Grizzlies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ascend Leadership Aviators 65-36. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

Clover Garden School has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Ascend Leadership, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clover Garden School will face off against Southern Wake Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ascend Leadership, they will take on Chatham Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
