Franklin came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tuscola Mountaineers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Franklin took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-15.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Tuscola, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Franklin is set to square off against their familiar foe North Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tuscola will face off against rival Pisgah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
