The Ponaganset Chieftains will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Cranston East Thunderbolts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Ponaganset slipped by Mt. Hope 14-13. The Chieftains haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cranston East, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over Pilgrim on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Thunderbolts needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

The win got Cranston East back to even at 1-1. As for Ponaganset, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
