Baseball Game Preview: Perry-Lecompton Kaws vs. Jefferson West Tigers

Perry-Lecompton is 1-9 against Jefferson West since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Kaws will host the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Perry-Lecompton managed to slip by Hiawatha the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Kaws lost 10-3 to the Red Hawks on Tuesday.

Houston Habiger was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs.

Jefferson West had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Sabetha and they left with a heavy heart again on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 8-6. The Tigers have struggled against the Bluejays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Jefferson West's loss dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Perry-Lecompton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-1.
