Basketball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

If Troy was feeling good fresh off their 76-33 takedown of Alberton last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Troy Trojans lost to the Plains Horsemen on the road by a 52-36 margin on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Horsemen: they've now lost six in a row.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Plains, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Troy will be home for the holidays to greet St. Regis at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Plains, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Hot Springs on Tuesday.
