Baseball Recap: Calhan Takes a Loss

Calhan lost against St. Mary back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs lost 18-1 to the Pirates.

Calhan's defeat was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for St. Mary's, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Coming up, Calhan will venture away from home to challenge Burlington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Mary's, they will host Ellicott at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Thunderhawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.77 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of.
