Baseball Recap: Tanner Comes Up Short

Tanner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lexington Golden Bears, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 last Monday.

Tanner's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lexington, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Golden Bears beat Tanner by a score of 11-2 later that day.
