Basketball Game Preview: Flora Wolves vs. Robinson Maroons

Flora is 1-9 against Robinson since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Flora Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Robinson Maroons at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Flora is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since December 26, 2023 on Monday. They fell just short of Nokomis by a score of 43-41.

Meanwhile, Robinson had to suffer through a 73-20 loss at the hands of Parke Heritage. While losing is never fun, the Maroons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 590th in Illinois, while the Wolves are ranked 39th in Indiana).

This is the second loss in a row for Robinson and nudges their season record down to 1-10. As for Flora, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Flora barely slipped by Robinson when the teams last played back in February, winning 59-58. Does Flora have another victory up their sleeve, or will Robinson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
