In what's become a running theme this season, Hoopeston gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over the Champaign Central Maroons. The victory was just what Hoopeston needed coming off of a 7-0 defeat in their prior game.

Hoopeston's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Champaign Central, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Hoopeston will face off against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Champaign Central, they will be playing at home against Rantoul at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
