Buford extended their winning streak to eight on Saturday, bumping them up to 21-2. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Archer Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2017.

Clara Briley paced Buford's offense, picking up eight kills. Briley got some help from Olivia Hayden and her seven assists. Briley also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Reagan Callender, racking up two apiece.

As for Archer, they moved to 22-5 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak. Considering the last time they couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

When it comes to explaining why Archer lost, don't look at Jayana Castro. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs.

Buford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Hebron Christian on the 20th. As for Archer, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Brookwood on the 20th.
