Basketball Recap: Palatka's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Palatka can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Menendez Falcons by a score of 60-48. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Palatka's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15. As for Menendez, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Palatka and Menendez could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Palatka (ranked 511th) will meet Fernandina Beach (ranked 167th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Menendez will square off against Bishop Kenny at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday down 379 places (548 vs. 169).
